FAQs

I’ve never practiced yoga before – can I still book a class?

Yes! Yoga can be for complete beginners and most classes offered will accommodate all students at any experience level. I’m happy to discuss any expectations prior to booking, just send me a message.

What should I wear to class?

You can wear any clothes that you feel comfortable in and that will allow you to move freely. If you’re joining a Yin class, please bring a jumper and socks to ensure your body stays warm during this slower paced movements.

I’m not flexible, is yoga right for me?

Absolutely. Yoga is not just for those with natural flexibility. The physical yoga practice (asana) may assist with gaining flexibility but this is not the only goal. Yoga can help you build strength, stability, and resilience.

I have an injury or condition – can I still join a class?

There are many ways to practice yoga and to adapt asana practice. In order to ensure you’re kept safe throughout, please disclose any pertinent information upon booking or contact me at yogawellnesswithizzie@gmail.com to discuss in detail.

What do I need to bring to class?

All you need is a yoga mat and I recommend bringing a bottle of water. You are free to bring along any other props that assist your practice if you wish, e.g., yoga strap, yoga blocks, eye pillow.
